Vintage Ampli

Working, on Ebay, I see these things go for $80 and up...not-working (like this one) they go for $30 plus the poor buyer who thinks they can get it working pay about $20 shipping...so I think $29 is fair for this piece of history. Normally it works off a dozen D batteries. I tried cleaning the batter contacts and putting some in there but no sound. Maybe YOU can get this thing to work! Everything is original except for the goose neck mic boom, mic clip and mic. The mic works, the speakers work, but again, the amp doesn't. I remember setting up one just like this in 1967 for our Highland Junior High School assemblies in the gym....that's the reason I got it...purely for nostalgia sake, but now it's taking up space in my garage so "memories" "schmemories" it's now time to get rid of it...along with my Beatle boots that don't fit anymore and my stretch Levis jeans (remember those???)

please respond with your phone number as I don't reply to emails...thanks
